MTK VCOM Drivers on Windows 7 – Installation Guide

  • Download MediaTek USB VCOM drivers (window  7) from the download Link.
  • Now Extract the Downloaded Mediatek USB VCOM Drivers on your computer.
  • Right-Click on My Computer and select “Manage”.

  • Now click on the Device Manager

  • Now you will see Computer name on the top of your Device Manager, Right Click on the computer name  & click on Add Legacy Hardware option

  • Now in the new pop screen, you will be welcomed with add legacy screen, Click on the next button.

  • Now Select "Install the Hardware that I manually Select from a list".

  • Now Click on Show All Device and Hit Next Button

  • Now Click on the Have Disk tab and browse for the Extracted Folder of Mediatek VCOM Drivers on your Computer and select any .inf file you extracted.

  • Once you select the .inf files, Click on the Open tab When you see a security warning on which you can select Install Anyway.
  • After Complete installation of .inf files, you need to Restart your PC/Laptop
