How to Install Stock Firmware/ROM on OnePlus Devices

OnePlus is a Shenzhen based Chinese smartphone manufacturer founded by Pete Lau and Carl Pei in December 2013. OnePlus started selling its devices with Cyanogen OS which was later replaced with OxygenOS which the company claims to be a better OS than any other Android custom OS. If you are using Custom ROM on OnePlus Android Smartphone and searching for a perfect guide to flash stock firmware on Samsung then you are at the right place.


Method 1: Flashing Using PC:-

    Step 1. Download & install the Minimal ADB and Fasboot & USB drivers of your device. Download your device’s ROM file in your computer.
    Step 2. Reboot your OnePlus Android Smartphone into recovery mode. To do this, switch off your device and turn it on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.

    Step 3.  Tap on the “Install from USB” option in the recovery screen, Now tap OK to confirm. After that screen with “You are in sideload mode” will be displayed.
    Step 4. Now Connect your device to Computer using a USB data cable. Now open adb.exe from ADB folder & Type the following commands.
    For Windows: “adb sideload <filename>
    For Mac/Linux: “./adb sideload <filename>

    Now wait for sometime to finish the installation, your phone should now update to the selected build and reboot automatically to take you into OxygenOS.

    Method 2: Flashing Using Phone:-


      Step 1. Download & Move Stock Rom into your device Internal Storage. 
      Step 2. Now Switch off your device & Reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, Switch off your device and turn it on while holding the Power + Volume down buttons simultaneously.
      Step 3. Now Tap on the Install from local / Install from SD”, navigate your downloaded ROM.zip file and tap on “Install” to confirm.



      Now wait a while to finish the installation procedure, your phone should now update to the selected build and reboot automatically to take you into OxygenOS.
